Sunyani, June 17, 2024 –  The citizenry, globally, regardless of religion and cultural ought to harness a culture of tolerance, peaceful dialogue and understanding each other, particularly as we approach the 2024 general elections.

“The essential tool in promoting the priceless Ghanaians democratic governance in nation building is renewing of faith in God’s Kingdom and reuniting ourselves”.

Mr. Jascot Hawkins Alhassan, the Secretary, Council of Zongo Chiefs, Brong-Ahafo Region stated.

Mr. Alhassan was speaking in an interview with News on Sunday after the Eid-Ul-Adha prayers at the Sunyani Jubilee Park.

According to him, “as we mark this year’s special festival, disconnect yourself from social vice practices”.

“You don’t perform cleansing sacrifice today and do otherwise aftermath”, Mr. Alhassan cautioned particularly the youthful age group.

He urged not only Muslims, but Ghanaians in general to renew their faith in God after this Eid-Ul-Adha festivity and wished all Ghanaians well on this special day.

Mr. Alhassan remind the “public to be righteous in all endeavors and do as Allah commanded us to, so that he (Allah) also remember and fulfill the covenant with you”.

He said after the spiritual connection to God on this day, one has to forgive one-another and enhance the moral and socio-cultural living for a harmonious society for all manners of persons.

The day, also to remember men (fathers), Mr. Alhassan advised all men to take charge of their homes and bear the fatherhood responsibilities, saying, God created man with responsible.
