Atuahenekrom, (B/R), June 17 Residents of Atuahenekrom, a farming community in the Sunyani Municipality are singing praises to Mr. Ransford Antwi, the Sunyani East Constituency Independent Parliamentary Candidate for his swift intervention and fixing their drinking water problem to improve the socioeconomic life of the people.

According to the people, a  mechanized borehole serving over 3,000 residents in the area developed fault and couldn’t function for about one-year now.

The water pumping machine and other parts of the infrastructure broke down, and the people have to fall on other communities for drinking water.  

Mr. Osman Issah, the Assemblyman for the area told thefourlens.com News in an interview that they have since been facing acute drinking water challenge until the coming of Mr. Antwi to quickly fix it the next day after his visit to the community.

He applauded the Independent Candidate, saying, “there is constant water flowing from Saturday, after Mr. Antwi’s kind intervention”. 

Mr. Issah said “this shows Mr. Antwi is capable of bringing development to the Constituency, because, infact, the quick response and solution to our problems was more faster than we expected”. 

“Senior, this was one of my biggest challenge here, because we have complained severally to the authorities in the Constituency, but to no avail”, Mr. Issah stated.

He thanked the Independent Candidate (Mr. Antwi) for his kindness towards the community.

“Ransford Antwi’s appearance in the Sunyani East Parliamentary race and has revived our hope for fair share of the national cake after this coming 2024 general elections” Adjwoa Mary, a resident of the community added.
