The Chief of Chiraa Traditional Area in the Sunyani West Municipality of the Bono region, Barima Minta Afari has implored Nana Ama Konama Biyaa, Queen mother of Abesim to ensure the issues of teenage pregnancy is not found amongst girls in the area.
Barima Minta Afari charged elders and traditional leaders of the Abesim Traditional Area to support Nana Konama Biyaa to prevent societal occurrences such as teenage pregnancy.
He gave the advice at a ceremony to inaugurate and enstool Nana Konama Biyaa 46, and a business woman in Accra.
Nana Konama Biyaa, known in her private life as Yvonne Konama Damoah Ayisi, with the Agricultural materials Company Ltd, Accra is married with three children.
She is now the Kyedomhemaa of the Dormaa Traditional Area and Queen mother of Abesim.
Nana Konama Biyaa sworn allegiance to Barima Kumi-Akyeaw III, Kyedomhene of the Dormaa Traditional Area and Chief of Abesim.
