The Dormaa Traditional Council has enstoold a 32 year-old business man as Chief of Abesim in the Sunyani Municipality of the Bono region.
Known in his private life as Kelvin Anane Addo, he is now Barima Kumi-Akyeaw III, the new Chief of Abesim and the Kyedomhene of Dormaa Traditional Area.
Other Sub-Chiefs of Abesim swon allegiance to Barima Kumi-Akyeaw III.
According to Barima Minta Afari, Chief of Chiraa who supervised the enstoolment urged Barima Kumi-Akyeaw III to ensure issues of education and sensitization are his topmost priority for the development of the area.
Barima Afari advised the Sub-Chiefs, family members and all the subjects of Abesim to support Barima Kumi-Akyeaw III to push for socioeconomic development of Abesim.
