Mr. Kwasi Ameyaw Cheremeh, the Member of Parliament for Sunyani on Thursday broke the ground for the construction of second Astro-turf for football development and jobs creation in Sunyani.
The artificial pitch situated at the Sunyani Methodist Cluster of Schools, funded by the Ghana Gas Company Ltd would have contain spectator stands and wash rooms among others.
It is expected to be completed within six months to unearth, nurture and build football talents in the Bono region.
Nana Owusu Ansa Ababio, a board member of Ghana Gas commended the MP for the project to and implored the contractor to employ only local people to work on the project.
