Kojo Frempong Wins Wenchi Parliamentary Primaries

Mr Kojo Frimpong, the Head of Corporate Affairs & External Relations for the Minerals Income Investment Fund has won the Wenchi Constituency Parliamentary Primaries.

He contested Mr Alfred Ofori Annye, the Deputy CEO Operations PBC Ltd and Mr Albert Asubonteng Ameyaw, Internal Auditor Ghana Maritime Authority in the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Orphan Constituency Parliamentary Primaries.

Kojo Frempong had 361 votes to beat Mr. Asubonteng Ameyaw who had 326 votes and Mr Alfred Ofori Annye, 34 votes on Saturday.

A total of 722 delegates voted out of the 736 expected, with one rejected ballot.

Kojo Frempong would contest for the NPP in the 2024 general elections.

The entire nationwide exercise was very peaceful.
