Mrs. Grace Acheampong, the Greater Accra Regional Women Organizer for the New Patriotic Party NPP has cautioned members of the party to desist from tribal politics.
She said tribal politics can affect the party’s victory in the 2024 general elections.
“We cant break the 8 with tribal politics”, therefore urged particularly women organizers to desist from utterances that sounds tribal in their campaigns at their various electoral areas.
She stated as women, they are for any body to be presented as leader of the party going into the 2024 general elections.
Mrs. Acheampong was speaking at Koforidua near Duayaw Nkwanta on Tuesday, during a women conference organized by the Tano North Constituency Women Organizer under the auspices of Dr. Freda Prempeh, the Member of Parliament for the area and Minister of Sanitation and Water Resources.
The conference was for the electoral area women organizers and other women executives of the party in the Tano North Constituency of the Ahafo region.
As part of the conference, the participants (over 150) were also trained in employable skills to improve their livelihoods and make them financially strong and independent.
