Free Eye Surgery beneficiaries in good health condition

Patients who had their eye surgeries performed on day one of the “Operation Restore Your Sight” free surgery exercise are in very good health conditions.
Several of them who spoke to thefourlens.com in an interview after their review on Tuesday said they were “with fears of unusual pains and fealing, but is not like that”.
The free eye surgery exercise was organized by the Suncity Group of Companies in Sunyani, in collaboration with friends eye center, mansusu investment Ltd, Unity for Sight and Suncity Imperial Lodge.
The exercise is ongoing at the Kwetire government Hospital near Odumase in the Sunyani West Municipality of the Bono region.
As at 11:00 am of Tuesday, thus day two of the surgeries, first two patients had their successful surgeries performed.
The exercise under the theme: “Operation Restore Your Sight” with 9 Doctors and eye specialists started Monday, June 12 and would end on Wednesday June 14.
It was to help persons with severe eye problems who required surgery, but can not afford the cost.
A total of 117 persons are expected to have their surgeries done at the end of the exercise.
They were patients booked from the thorough eye screening exercise organized by Suncity Group of Companies and conducted in February this year at the same Hospital.
