Journalists and Officials of the Information Service Department (ISD) are undergoing fact-checking training to avoid misinformation in their reportage.

It’s a two-day capacity building workshop for writers and publishers of news items to produce and report factual and accurate news through digital verification tools.

It’s on-going in Sunyani from Thursday and would end today,  Friday, November 18, 2022.

The workshop was organized by UNESCO Ghana Commission with Dubawa and participants were about 50 in the Bono region.

Participants are expected to have the chance to become familiar with fact-checking and professional approach to convey the truth.
