The Omanhene (Paramount Chief) of the Wenchi Traditional Area Osagyefo Ampem Anye Amoampong Tabrako III, and Elders in one accord on Tuesday poured libation to endorse Kojo Frempong, a Parliamentary candidate for the Wenchi Constituency on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
They invoked spirit of their ancestors to support, bless, protect and make way for Kojo Frempong to win the Parliamentary seat and push for socioeconomic development of the area.
The Traditional Council said Wenchi is far lacking development, in terms of particularly roads and economic activities, despite the area is geographically and advantageously positioned for agriculture and agro processing opportunities but have confidence Kojo Frempong can change the narrative.
They therefore endorsed and advised delegates to confirm Kojo Frempong as the Member of Parliament in the coming Parliamentary elections to help Wenchi get its fare share of the national cake.
Osagyefo Tabrako III said this when Mr. Frempong presented himself to the Traditional Council and outlined his visions before the Traditional Authorities and ask for their support, guidance, advised, blessings and prayers after his successful vetting processes with green light to contest the Wenchi Seat for the NPP.

Kojo Frempong spoke about agriculture and agro processing factories to create aboundant direct and indirect job opportunities for the youth and people of Wenchi to boost their local economy.
He said reshaping the deplorable road networks in the area is one of his priorities and updated the Authorities on discussions so far to get their roads becoming first class roads before the 2024 general elections.
Farmers cooperative initiative, he said was crucial to support cashew and mango farmers during off seasons.
Kojo Frempong announced his 1000 burger project to look for opportunities for 1000 youth from Wenchi to work abroad and bring remittances home.
He revealed his educational scholarship opportunities for brilliant but needy students to school abroad to positively influence infrastructure development in Wenchi in the next few years.
Osagyefo Tabrako III charged Kojo Frempong to deliver his promises, saying, he has the support of the traditional authorities.
