Suncity Group of Companies = Free Eye Screening/ Surgeries = Kwatire PolyClinic

The Suncity Group of Companies together with its partners, Friends Eye Centre in Kumasi and United For Sight in the United States of America (USA) have set to organize free Eye screening and Surgeries at the Kwatire Polyclinic in the Sunyani West Municipality of the Bono region.
It is under the theme: “Operation Restore Your Sight”.
The exercise scheduled on Sunday 5th to Saturday 11th February 2023 is to ensure sustainable healthcare delivery in the region and part of efforts in giving back to society.
Professor Stephen Tabiri, the Dean of School of Medicine and Health Sciences at the University of Development Studies (UDS) stated.
According to him, Mr. Ransford Antwi, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Suncity Radio has volunteered to provide the medical team accommodation, feeding and other medical supplies to ensure a successful screening and surgeries exercise.
Prof. Tabiri was speaking on Suncity Radio in Sunyani and disclosed that most Ghanaians have problems with their sight, however, due to financial constraints to seek regular medical attention, their problems render them blind.
This, Prof. Tabiri said has triggered their move to organize the free eye screening and surgery for the people of the Bono Region.
He said they undertook same exercise in 2022 at the Tamale Teaching Hospital which saw many people benefiting from it.
Prof. Tabiri urged the general public particularly individuals with eye problem to take advantage and get their eyes checked.
Interested persons are encouraged to visit the Kwatire Polyclinic to register for the exercise and come along with their National Health Insurance Cards on the stipulated date.
