The 2022 Suncity Medical Outreach in Sunyani to start tomorrow

The Suncity group of Companies’ Free Medical Outreach exercise scheduled for 2022 would start on Wednesday, October 26, at the Sunyani Municipal Hospital.
It’s a three-day free medical care exercise organized by Mr. Ransford Antwi, the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Sunyani based Suncity Radio and would start from this Wednesday 26 to Friday 28 October as part of the company’s scheduled activities for the year 2022.
Speaking to newsmen in Sunyani prior to the program, he said the exercise would take care of people with health conditions in Fibroid, Hydrocele, Hernia, Ovarian Cyst and prostate issues that may require surgery.
Mr. Antwi kindly entreated people with the above mentioned conditions to register at the Sunyani Municipal Hospital, OPD, Consulting Room One in order to go through pre-surgery formalities.
The registration is also free, Mr. Antwi stated, adding that people who would come for the free medical care are to bring their Health Insurance Cards.
Doctors and Nurses from Hospitals in the Bono, Bono East and Ahafo regions are coming to conduct the free exercise.
The team would be led by Professor Stephen Tabiri, Consultant Surgeon and Dean, School of Medicine at the University of Development Studies and Dr. Adu Appiah-Kubi, Consultant Gynaecological Oncologist at the Ho Teaching Hospital.
Other Doctors would include Dr. Frank Gyamfi, Snr. Specialist and General Surgeon at the Berekum Holy Family Hospital, Dr. Emmanuel Owusu Urologist at St. Mary’s Hospital Drobo, Dr. JB Fordjour, Dr. Joel Duah at Kukuom Hospital, he added.
“We are doing this as part of our birthdays celebration because I and my wife Safura were both born in the month of October”, so this exercise follows the free breast cancer screening exercise organized by My wife, held last Friday at the Victoria Park.
